Danielle Johnson-Kutch is the Director of Government Affairs at DocuSign, the company that pioneered electronic signatures and now offers digital transformation of the agreement process itself. In her role she leads federal and state public policy and advocacy for the company.

Prior to joining DocuSign, Danielle was Senior Manager, Credit Policy & Guide at Freddie Mac where she oversaw the publication of policy changes to the Seller/Servicer Guide and related marketing and communication materials.

She also served for nearly ten years at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in several roles, including Director of the Office of Financial Stability (OFS), Director of Policy and Programs, Chief Homeownership Preservation Officer, and Director of Policy. Through these roles at the Treasury, Danielle gained extensive experience in policy development, management of complex programs, and building partnerships with industry, government, and consumer stakeholders as she oversaw the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and served as an expert on mortgage servicing and housing policy matters.

Danielle began her career working in government affairs at the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and also served as Director, National Association for County Community and Economic Development, and Vice President of Mortgage Policy at Bank of America.

Danielle received her M.A. in Political Science from American University and her B.A. from Alfred University. She is also a graduate of Leadership for a Democratic Society at the Federal Executive Institute.
