Mia Jordan serves as a Digital Transformation Executive at Salesforces. She serves as a SME for Salesforce in the AMER Federal & Civilian domain markets advising customers on large-scale digital transformation efforts, cybersecurity, and cloud adoption. Mia is a solutions-driven IT Executive with a 20+ year record of success in transforming IT organizations, developing and implementing cybersecurity programs, innovating business applications, and embedding new technologies that drive business efficiencies and provide strong ROI.

Mia joined Salesforce in 2021 after 12 years as a public servant. Mia was inducted into the Senior Executive Service (SES) in 2017 and served as a Senior Executive and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at USDA/Rural Development and Federal Student Aid (FSA), an office of the Department of Education responsible for securing a loan portfolio of over $1.7 trillion.

Before her tenure at FSA, Mia was the CIO of Rural Development, the 6th largest bank in the United States. Responsible for managing and securing a loan portfolio of over $250B and its technology assets. Most notably, she is a 2019 Theodore Roosevelt Government Leadership “Pathfinder” winner for her leadership in bringing advances and innovation in information technology to the government for her vision and leadership in developing the OneRD Portal- improving the employee experience. Also in 2019, Mia was awarded a USDA Secretary Honors award for her leadership in delivering the ReConnect system for rural broadband loans. ReConnect enabled businesses and co-Ops to electronically apply for billions of dollars in loans and grants, reducing the award process from 12 months to 120 days. Additionally, under Mia’s leadership, she led the implementation of GUS2, improving the Business to Government (B2G) experience for over 2,000 banks, 60,000 users, and thousands of constituents desiring home ownership in Rural America.

Mia graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a focus on cybersecurity in 2007 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
